Our family had an in person tour and we were just really disappointed and underwhelmed. It looked like a converted Days Inn, and the day we toured it was over 100 degrees and they just had the residents sitting out in their wheelchairs. It was just not a good first impression.
This facility is very clean. Staff is very friendly. I would recommend that they have more activities, there doesn't seem to be a very good variety. Housekeeping does great. I would recommend them to friends and family.
It was a good place overall.
Our tour was awful, I would not recommend the facility to others. We walked in and it was so dirty that we wanted to leave right away. If the man showing us around was not so nice we would have. When staff were wheeling residents by a lot of them smelled like urine. It was not a good tour experience.
Our family was very disappointed with Chestnut Ridge. They made a mistake in our loved one's medication. And they were not very attentive to him or very aware of his condition. The cost is great, but we've learned that you get what you pay for.
We like Chestnut Ridge. They're all really nice and helpful, and we've been well taken care of. Anything we've asked, they've done for us. It looks clean and well kept every time I go there. My loved one likes the food We've had nothing but good experiences.
Our family had an in person tour and this was our second choice only because the price was a little to high for us. However, the director was absolutely wonderful, and we can confidentially say we would recommend this community to families who are searching for a place.
We had a great tour with Chestnut Ridge, the gal showing us around was very nice and it seemed like they had a lot to offer. The facility has many stories to it and you had to use an elevator which is the reason we decided to go with another smaller facility.
This community was very good and it was a great tour. I would have put my loved one at this community if we were able to be accepted.
