The executive staff is excellent. Nursing and other staff is average or slightly above. I would certainly recommend this facility to others.
I like it and satisfied with the service my brother is receiving!It was what I was looking for to help with my brother's needs!
My loved one is currently a resident at Chestnut Ridge Wallingford. Some of the staff are absolutely great, some are lazy. The housekeeping is fantastic. The move in process was easy, but communication of what was needed was not great. I would suggest giving the family a list of what is needed for the resident. This facility, compared to other places, is good. I would recommend Chestnut Ridge Wallingford to family and friends.
My loved one was very upset with the quality of care, attention to medication requirements. My opinion is take it off your list as it only proves that you get what you pay for. They used unqualified people and failed to give medication as prescribed.
Moved a loved one in and have seen a steady decline in the care. Significant staff turnover. The sofa in memory care is unbearable to sit in due to urine smell. They covered with a moving blanket. The food has also been pretty bad. Would recommend looking at other facilities.
I previously gave a bad review but I am going to change it for now because the new management needs more time to straighten the problems out..Hopefully! If all goes well I will update again with a better review. And sorry for not giving them a chance.

It's a nice place and the fees are more reasonable than other. There was a staff member who was very rude, and loud, towards my spouse. They need to improve on their staffing.
I called a" place for mom " when my mother started falling at home and being unable to get up. They recommended Chestnut ridge and set us up with an appointment. From the minute we walked in, we felt so comfortable every person we came in contact with was so pleasant. My parents moved in [date removed]and my dad passed away with hospice on [date removed]. Recently, 6 days ago, my parents moved fr independent living to personal care at Chestnut Ridge. So far have had a positive experience. Clean, welcoming & good food too! My siblings & I are hoping our parents settle & Chestnut Ridge becomes their forever home.
