My mother [name removed] has lived here for almost 3 years , everyone of these workers I consider my friends ! I must name a few that excel in what they do [name removed] takes great care of my mom in dining room along with all the servers . I have visited Chestnut Ridge and it always looks so nice and clean, and it always smells so pleasant. The housekeeping dept does a wonderful job under the supervision of [name removed]. Keep up the great work!!!

Whenever I come to visit Chestnut Ridge Wallingford it is so clean and neat. I am always greeted with a smile. The Residents here at this facility are happy and content. If one day I need these services I am letting my family know that this would be my choice, if they could not help me. I am getting older and I am doing a lot of soul searching about my senior years.

They do an excellent job with my family member respond quickly when need be. Its clean staff is nice polite. The kitchen prepares meals specific to diet. Medication management and nursing care is great

I have the pleasure of visiting Chestnut Ridge daily when seeing hospice patients. Over the past year or so I have been witness to the daily interactions between staff and those in the memory care unit. The med techs, [name removed], [name removed] etc. and C.N.A’s get to know every resident and treat them like family- with care and respect. The staff is friendly and provides good care for my loved one. The lobby area is clean, bright and very nice to welcome residents, and family members. The management staff is helpful when you have questions or concerns about your loved family member living at Chestnut Ridge Wallingford.

Upon walking in the facility is always well kept and a smiling face is ready and waiting. The care and attention to our family member is great. The staff is always pleasant and helpful. My mother in law loves the interaction.

Everyone was really nice and supportive when my Mom passed away. Front desk, caregivers, cleaning staff, activities, and maintenance are all friendly. They seem to be understaffed and I had to pick up a lot of the slack when I visited (cutting and cleaning nails, hair, and dentures - I’ve experienced this at more expensive places, too, so it seems like an industry-wide issue). After I fall that my mother had taken at home we knew it was time for an assisted living facility. While she was still in the hospital being assessed, I spoke with [name removed], the admission director at Chestnut Ridge. He knew we had a short time before she would be released from the hospital and needed a place for her to go.
