I love everything about Chestnut Ridge Wallingford! I have been here almost 6 years would highly recommend! I have made friends including staff and residents. The community is nice and clean and we are a family here.

The nursing staff at CRW has been very helpful and patient once the transfer took place. Our family member is now adjusting nicely and making progress in PT!

My mother has been at this facility since August. She has been very pleased with her living experience. She was immediately welcomed into the community and quickly made friends. There are numerous activities for the residents to choose from each day to keep them active and busy. My mother really enjoys the staff, who all knew her by name within her first few days at the facility. The staff has been caring and kind providing great care since her arrival. Nice place, nursing staff is non responsive when asked to respond after my mom sees the doctor. The entire management team needs better skills. When they changed management, I was never notified, no new email addresses or phone numbers

The admin staff and the friendliness of the staff was outstanding. [name removed] needed a lot of personal care and she was not always willing to listen and the staff were very good with her. The nursing supervisor suggested hospice and [name removed] was very happy with her care with Hospice as well.
My step mother was able to make friends. Yes, we would recommend the community to other families, although they overcharged us for the 2nd month
Place is nice & clean. Staff are friendly. Had an issue with phones down for over a week. There was a problem with getting a medication on time but that was resolved. The food is good. All in all, its a nice place.

They are not as verse on handling dementia patients as stated based on training. Like most places, the hired personnel are not well trained or at times lacked compassion or desire to provide quality work. There were a handful of great people, but they are not adequately staffed due to the quality of selected individuals. I worked in a lot of facilities and never came to a memory care unit so intact. 4th floor gets an A+ , from the caregivers [name removed] AND [name removed] to the housekeeper [name removed] down to the activities [name removed] ALL WORK WELL TOGETHER.
