My mother has been at this facility since August. She has been very pleased with her living experience. She was immediately welcomed into the community and quickly made friends. There are numerous activities for the residents to choose from each day to keep them active and busy. My mother really enjoys the staff, who all knew her by name within her first few days at the facility. The staff has been caring and kind providing great care since her arrival. Chestnut Ridge has been a godsend for my mother who has dementia. Everyone on the staff goes above and beyond to make sure all the residents are healthy, fed and happy 24/7. The staff is constantly on the floors and instantly available.

The admin staff and the friendliness of the staff was outstanding. [name removed] needed a lot of personal care and she was not always willing to listen and the staff were very good with her. The nursing supervisor suggested hospice and [name removed] was very happy with her care with Hospice as well.
Place is nice & clean. Staff are friendly. Had an issue with phones down for over a week. There was a problem with getting a medication on time but that was resolved. The food is good. All in all, its a nice place.

I worked in a lot of facilities and never came to a memory care unit so intact. 4th floor gets an A+ , from the caregivers [name removed] AND [name removed] to the housekeeper [name removed] down to the activities [name removed] ALL WORK WELL TOGETHER. THEY DO SUCH A GREAT JOB CARING FOR THESE RESIDENTS .GREAT JOB LADIES AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICES WE NEED MORE LIKE YOU Ps…THE FLOOR IS VERY CLEAN AND SMELLS LIKE LAVENDER AND ROOMS ARE CLEAN
I have visited Chestnut Ridge and it always looks so nice and clean, and it always smells so pleasant. The housekeeping dept does a wonderful job under the supervision of [name removed]. Keep up the great work!!!
Whenever I come to visit Chestnut Ridge Wallingford it is so clean and neat. I am always greeted with a smile. The Residents here at this facility are happy and content. If one day I need these services I am letting my family know that this would be my choice, if they could not help me. I am getting older and I am doing a lot of soul searching about my senior years.
They do an excellent job with my family member respond quickly when need be. Its clean staff is nice polite. The kitchen prepares meals specific to diet. Medication management and nursing care is great
I have the pleasure of visiting Chestnut Ridge daily when seeing hospice patients. Over the past year or so I have been witness to the daily interactions between staff and those in the memory care unit.
